“Nice rooms, nice location, decent service”
Reviewed November 19, 2012 via mobile

One thing that needs work is the bar service, very slow. The front desk was very pleasant, housekeeping was great, but the staff that worked at the main bar were slow, unattentive, and a little snippy. The rooms were quite nice, as well as the housekeeping was superb.

We stayed here for 4 days and it was like a home away from home. The staff were super helpful from check in and made sure we were comfortable. We had left NY in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy and needed a place to stay. We originally booked 2 nights but the hotel was great and extended our stay for another 2 days - this was really great in light of our circumstances.

The rooms were very large and comfortable. The beds were great. There was a swimming pool that the kids liked.

This is in a great location and we were able to walk to many of the sights like Quincy market and the Aquarium.. We really enjoyed the Boston Tea Party museum right behind the hotel.

We will definitely use this hotel on our next trip to Boston.

We stayed here in February and had the good fortune of having a hugh suite that overlooked the water. I won an auction on Off & Away, which is no longer in business. Our daughter was attending Tufts and it literally was within walking distance to her apartment. The room was spectacular - large master suite with separate bathroom; hall with 1/2 bath; big round table that sat 6 easily and beautifully decorated living space with mini bar and coffee maker. If this is how the rich live - i want to be weathly. Close to all sights of Boston.

Stayed here by my girlfriend at the end of October and it was perfect from the start. Very friendly at check in, very helpful with getting taxis and giving directions and convenient location to top it all off. I would love to stay again.

Stayed here for 4 nights, a mixture of work and play. Very central, very helpful and accommodating staff, the various concierges were very knowledgeable and friendly. No distance to Quincy's Market etc. Room was excellent, very spacious and comfortable. Would recommend witho

All you would expect from this brand hotel, great service, wonderful staff, etc. except for a few minor items and one major complaint.

1. The major complaint is the fire department is literally across the street. Great to know if we catch on fire, but terrible if you're trying to sleep! The sirens are loud of course, and the sound echos around the other buildings, which does not make for restful sleep. I am not a very light sleeper, but I was woken up four times my first night. I asked for a room on the other side of the building the next morning. They moved me without a problem, but the volume didn't diminish much and I was woken up three times the second night. Thankfully CVS is a short walk away, ear plugs allowed me to sleep uninterrupted the duration of my stay.

2. The beds are hard. Two rooms, four beds, none were comfy. They honestly felt like a $200 mattress with a $50 pillow top cover on top. Not what I was expecting for the price of the rooms.

3. TV was a flat panel, but very small, maybe 32"? I wasnt expecting a 55" but again, for the price of the room 42" would be more appropriate.

4. Rooms were nicely done, odd to see two full beds in each versus the traditional queens, ask for a king if you're coming with a significant other.

Though we only stayed in this hotel one night, we would definitely return when in Boston. The location is superb...two blocks from South Station in the heart of the Financial district. Very close to the Aquarium, North End, Fanuiel Hall and Haymarket Square.
The rooms are quite spacious, the bathroom huge with plenty of towels. We found it immaculately clean. The corridors have many twist and turns, so you could have difficulty finding your room, but they are very quiet.
The lobby is large, with two or three restaurants to choose from. There is a lovely area out back to sit and enjoy the sunny weather and great views of Boston Harbor.
I would highly recommend this hotel.
