Description: Legal Test Kitchen (LTK), a Legal Sea Foods concept, ventures into uncharted waters and pushes the boundaries of innovation in premium food and drink. Multicultural dining options and inspired seasonal cocktails cast a wide net in attracting those who have an appetite for fun. Located in the Seaport District, our restaurant is within easy walking distance to the Institute of Contemporary Art, the World Trade Center, the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, the Bank of America Pavilion and hotels including the Renaissance Boston, Westin Waterfront and Seaport. LTK is both a destination and neighborhood hangout and our extended hours of operation make us a late night lure. In season, you can eat sea fare while smelling the salt air in our patio seating.

I went to Legal Test Kitchen one night for drinks and appetizers with coworkers and we had a wonderful time. The drinks were flavorful and not too strong, but good for their price. I had the Turkish Lamb pizza - wonderful! It had a nice middle eastern spice to it and was very fulling. We had a great waiter (Duwayne) and he provided great service. I would highly recommend it!

Good assortment of menu options. See food and non seafood items. Prices are varied with more affordable and lighter options than Legals restaurants across the street. More casual, good bar area to sit and eat at. Warm chocolate chip cookie and espresso martini were the perfect ending to a great meal.

This is the second time visiting LTK. Both times proved to be an excellent experience.
We got there early for supper, around 5 PM. We had a nice round table for 4.
Our waiter (Dan) really knew his stuff. One of our party has a gluten allergy and this restaurant really catered to her needs.
I had grilled salmon, veggies and a salad. My husband had the special of a crab cake (large crab pieces and not a lot of filler!) scallops and shrimp! One person had swordfish...we all raved about our meals. You enjoy the taste of Legal Seafood without the additional cost!! How can you pass that up?

Everything we tried was fantastic; great view overlooking the harbour; located in the newest part of Boston where a revitalization has taken place on the south side. Don't miss enjoying this dining experience.

Had dinner here with 4 college friends. No one had a complaint about the food.

Some thoughts:
1. This is no longer a test kitchen. They will tell you that ---so they need to change the name.
2. As others have complained, service is slow and seems a little disorganized
3. We arrived to find a clump of food on the table. It was finally cleaned on request, but really at these prices do you need to ask?
4. Food was all well-prepared, but in my opinion not very inventive either
5. Prices seemed fair for restaurants of this caliber. I do not know how they compare to other restaurants in this local chain

I had the scrod mix and match and it was excellent but the protion was smallish.
