“This is the best restaurant in Boston”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 3, 2014

I’ve eaten at all of the top rated Trip Advisor restaurants in Boston and this is the best. My wife, daughter and I dinned at Sorellina’s on a recent Saturday night. The food, service and atmosphere were all excellent.

Our appetizers were excellent; the oysters were local and very fresh, the carpaccio was imported and very good and the burrata and prosciutto was simply outstanding.

Our main courses were excellent; my veal saltimbocca consistent of a couple of thick yet tender veal medallions on a bed of perfect mashed potatoes, my wife’s filet mignon with mushrooms was a perfect medium rare, tender and moist, a beautiful piece of meat and my daughter’s special order arugula salad with a side of sautéed mushrooms was perfect. Note 2014 has been the best year for arugula ever!

Our dinks were excellent; the house champagne was excellent (we toasted my daughter’s recent graduation from college), the waiter selected very nice parings for our various courses, and the after diner aperitifs were first rate. The coffee served with desert was very very good.

And, dessert was excellent; the warm molten chocolate cake with vanilla gelato was simply a perfect end to an outstanding meal.

While valet parking is a barging at $16, it can get backed up. So I suggest you give them your valet ticket and stroll around Copley Square while they bring the car around. It’s the perfect end to a magnificent meal. This is the best restaurant in Boston.

“Overpriced”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2014

Nice ambiance and very courteous staff. The food is reasonable/good but clearly overpriced. There are other much better Italian restaurants in the North End. This one is located close to Copley Square which may explain the overpriced. We were two, had a cocktail, a fisherman's brew,a carpaccio, 2 Fettucine and 2 desserts. Total: USD 143

“Splendid at Sorellina”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 30, 2014

Great feeling upon entering the restaurant. The waiter was very accomodating. We asked for bread three times it was so warm and delicious. Fresh arugula salad with pine nuts, waygu meatballs to share - WOW - perfectly flavored and cooked filet mignon, large meaty lamb chops and veal medallions, gnocchi with lobster - WOW - and don't miss the donuts with nutella. Great wine selection and thank you to the restaurant for knowing that people want to talk to each other because the music was at a perfect volume. The room is lovely and Sorellina has become my new favorite restaurant in Boston.

“Exquisite dinner complemented by exceptional service.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 22, 2014

Had a rather late night reservation at the restaurant on a Friday night when the crowd was trending down. They accommodated us with a smile and with exceptionally attentive service. Our server was a Song, delightful and very helpful. Wine list is thoughtful. Had a delicious bottle of Sine Qua Non with our meal. Bone-in veal chop was amazing. Would gladly return again. Very elegant meal. Cheers!

“OUTSTANDING!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 3, 2014

One of the best meals of my life! Wasn't sure if my expectations would be met, but they were exceeded. 2 kettle one and clubs, bottle pinot noir, Burrata (fresh mozz, proscuitto, tomato, pickled radish), MACCHERONCELLI (American Wagyu beef meatballs, Montepulciano sauce and Parmigiano), Fillet Mignon, Lemon Souffle & Tiramisu. All AMAZING! Worth the cost!
