We had been to Unbrias before but we wanted to see what they did for Restaurant Week. We were not disappointed. The choices were many and as usual the food was top notch.

Was at Umbria for a business dinner last week. Was not cheap but the food was worth it. Service was relaxed and maybe a bit slow, but not bad. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Overall a good place for a nice meal.

The place is small but lots of beautiful detail. The shrimp appetizer was great and the shrimp where huge. We had 4 for 2 people . The steak was the best I have ever had with the coffee crusted outside and cooked in the wood fire oven . If you love steak this is a must have . The cocktails were small but well made for the price . The presentation was also great from appetizer to dessert.

We ate here on a Friday night early and by the time we left it was full.Staying one night we needed a meal and stumbled on this near our hotel. Waiter was good ,suggested we shared salad starter as very large (it was ) and recommended a red wine that was reasonable .We both had filet mignon which was cooked a little more than requested but was good , served up with a handful of cress and a marrow bone with a small fork stuck in the top! However, everything else is an extra otherwise that is it , we had vidalia onions and fries , we had the chefs dessert for two which also was rich but excellent , no coffee ,bottom line this was just north of $250 with tip not cheap you judge

To answer a post of empty glass of water, they must have improve the service, mine never went below half.

I had a 12oz filet mignon with a side of cheese mashed potatoes. Filet mignon was really good. Mashed potatoes were ok, but not beating the Morton's one lol.

My gf had pasta and they were also delicious, considering it is a steakhouse. The couple with us had rack of lamb and it was perfectly cooked. I tasted it and it was melting in my mouth.

Service was ok, could elevate a notch for this kind of restaurant but honestly it was enough, I don't like "broom stick in the butt server"! They might want to explain the menu or try to find that little magic touch to make you feel special.

Would I go back? Without hesitation !
