“Very Nice”
Reviewed January 5, 2013

It may be a bit hard to find, but this is a hidden gem well worth seeing. Look for i down by the waterfront area in the area outside of Faneiul (sp?) Hall Marketplace.

“A Nice Place to Enjoy Boston Harbor”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

This is park offers a serene view of Boston Harbor. Sitting on one of its many benches you can gaze out at Charlestown, South Boston and East Boston/Logan Airport while in the foreground sail boats, motor boats and cabin cruisers bob to and fro. Its a good place to walk after a meal in one of the Waterfront or North End's many restaurants. The best time to visit is between Spring and early Fall. It's a location that's great for singles, couples or families. In Summer their are concerts held on some evenings. I really love to go here to wind down, chat with friends and people watch.

“Perfect Relief for Young Kids in the City”
Reviewed September 27, 2012

If you are in the heart of Boston and have young kids, take advantage of this park. First off, there is a playground that has equipment and a sandbox. Even better is that the sandbox has toys for use such as trucks, shovels and other kids construction toys. This keeps the worry about not having stuff with you for them to play with at the park. There are several immediate dining options next to the park and the Italian section of Boston is literally across the street with the main dining district about 1/4 mile walk. The Waterfront is also right there with dining options and the aquarium. This park is also the perfect place to watch boats come in and out and check out the planes departing from Logan.

“Cool and out-of-the way”
Reviewed July 3, 2012

After grabbing our food at Quincy Market, we high-tailed it over to Christopher Columbus park for a quiet picnic. Even during Harborfest week, which is the height of the busy tourist season, this spot was not crowded. The shade under the arbor was cool and combined with the sea breeze was downright delightful, even on a day with temperatures in the 80s-90s. Our 4-year-old loved the playground and we filled up our water bottles at the water fountains.
