Description: The Elephant Walk serves Award-Winning Cambodian and French cuisine with extensive vegetarian and gluten-free selections. Cambodian cooking is beautiful and delicious, but still rare in America. Less hot and sweet than Thai, richer and more complex than Vietnamese, the complex spice pastes that are the foundation of many Cambodian dishes reflect Cambodia's Indian ancestry (but use fresh rather than dried spices). Our Cambodian and French selections encompass both traditional and original dishes created by our Chef Nadsa de Monteiro, who was raised in Phnom Penh speaking both Cambodian and French and subsequently lived in France for many years. Our Cambodian-and-French theme is an authentic reflection of our roots!

Four of us decided to try this Cambodia experience before a ball game at Fenway. (its a little distance away so give yourself a little time, but much less noisy than the eating places nearer the park) and we enjoyed the food very much. You can get a great 3 course meal for $30 or a 4 course for $34 which is quite reasonable. Its a fusion experience with all our dishes a mixture of shrimp or chicken combined with several types of veggies and added rice. For an appetizer we recommend the spring rolls.

I arranged a pre-fixed menu for a group of 20+ on two separate occasions.. Attendees were well traveled around the world and had flown in from Europe, California, Japan and the middle east. This experience was exactly what I was looking for and was extremely budget friendly. Everyone raved about how it was items they had never tried before. I prefer the Cambridge location ambiance but the Boston location is unbeatable and convenient. If you are on Commonewealth avenue, it is worth the short walk or cab ride to beacon street. It is also in walking distance from Fenway park.

Went with three others, had two different shrimp dishes (special had jumbos) and slow cooked pork . All were simple with clean well defined flavors and large portions. Three different soups as starters, the chicken with fried garlic and rice was the clear winner. Coffee ice cream/choc cake (not even up to Trader Joe standards) dessert was just okay. Spend your $$$ on the fairly priced wine, grab dessert elsewhere.

A wide variety of delicious French/Asian dishes, moderately priced. The passionfruit tart is to die for. So are the ribs . . .

I loved the atmosphere of this place: elegant, but not stuffy. The menu, although somewhat overwhelming, offered a great variety of dishes and carefully explained options for different dietary restrictions. My only complaint was the service. It took a very long time for the waitress to come once we were seated, and she was not personable at all. For the price of the food, I would have liked to see excellent service along with delicious food.
