Description: Eat like royalty in Boston’s most famous castle. Indulge your senses and sense of history with the unique dining experience of our Boston steakhouse. Located in a historic stone and brick “castle” built in 1891, the structure originally served as the headquarters for the First Corps of Cadets and is listed on the National Historic Register. The first floor gunroom, social hall, and museum floor have been converted to the main dining room. The castle also boasts an impressive collection of private dining rooms, and the fourth floor Battle Room is one of Boston’s most coveted locations for large parties. Create a memorable evening by requesting our “behind the scenes” tour.

S&W's quality as usual, but Bostonian "Education" from the waiters and a not cheap bill. You go here just for the old fort location and for the quality of steaks.

Always good, rarely good value with New York prices. An appetizer, entree, 4 cocktails fir the two of us ran $260 including tax and tip. The food is outstanding. The services good but took us nearly 15 minutes to order a cocktail upon arrival.

We had two corporate events here back to back. Both the service and the food were outstanding. The historic building really added to the ambiance.

The service was attentive and courteous. The steak options were amazing and the lobster is worth ordering. Not a great place to dine if you are vegetarian.

I ordered the larger charbroiled filet minion cooked medium for my entree. It was next to impossible to cut into this steak. No one came to came to check on us while we were eating. After the other two people in my party with finished their meals (they both stated the meals were Ok but not great), I sent the uneaten steak back due to the fact that it was overcooked and not edible. The sever (Charles) made me feel uncomfortable and impolite for sending an uneatable $60 steak back. I will NEVER return.
