Very small restaurant. Great oysters. Good service. You do have to share tables with others as limited space.

Great restaurant. Very small with long lines, but worth the wait. Hostess takes cell phone number and gives an estimated wait time. You can leave and enjoy local shops and bars while waiting and will receive a text when a table is ready. Food is awesome!

We have visited Neptune Oyster several times and had a family member with us this time. It was graduation weekend, so the wait times were VERY long. Our wait was 2 1/2 hours. Neptune is a very small place, like many in Boston. They took our number and would call when they had seating for us. In the interim, we walked around, visit other restaurants and then our seating was ready. We have always ended up sitting at the bar. The food is excellent. My husband always enjoys the selection to choose from at Neptune. We will definitely return on our next trip to Boston.

Other reviews are spot on! Excellent seafood in small, quaint spot. Got there before they opened so we were in first seating. But service was fast so even if you have a wait and have to come back, it's worth it! "Hot" lobster roll is heaven and their descriptions of the oysters and clams are right on the money. Only a few blocks walk from Quincey Market so when in the area you really should visit here.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Boston and well worth the wait! The hosts have seating down to a science. Once you enter, they will immediately take your phone number, give you an approximate wait time, and send you on your way until they call. Even though it might be a 45 to 90 minute wait, you can spend time enjoy wandering the streets of the Northend or pop into a nearby bar for a drink.

Oysters, upon oysters, upon oysters! This is truly a slice of heaven and makes for a memorable meal. We sat at the bar and took our time looking at all the different fresh selections. I couldn't decide . . .so ended up trying most of the oysters. My favorite were the kumamotos! My husband had an amazing seared tuna special. The atmosphere is lively and fun. Service was excellent and there was also a great wine list!

Highly recommend to anyone and everyone!!
