The bartender, Ryan (I think everyone we met was Ryan), was very Irish. He was funny. Fun experience picking out beers. Went back again later for a bite to eat. Even though everyone is pushing lobster rolls, we got the hot wings and shepards pie. It was sooo good. If you're looking for a pub with a nice atmosphere, great beer and good food, this one was the best out of all the pubs on that strip!

We stopped into the green dragon after working up an appetite walking the freedom trail (this tavern is located along the trail). It has a great history (pre-revolution) and the food is both plentiful and tasty. The corned beef and cabbage is really done well here and the steak tips have great flavor. This place does allow kids but it is a bar so keep that in mind before you go. We'll be back for sure!

We had lunch there , which was nice and good value and went back for a drink in the evening.
It's a proper pub, no frills, it does what it says on the can

Having taken a walking tour of Boston's Freedom Trail, our guide ended the journey here. Since it was a cold day and we needed both warmth and food, we took both at the Green Dragon, an inn, it is claimed, that goes back to the days of Samuel Adams. To our British eyes, it was a jolly good pub, a real home from home and the food that it served would have not looked out of place in London. Good wholesome food, decent beers, friendly service. What more can you want?

We were really looking forward to having a bite at the Green Dragon Tavern. Unfortunately, the experience fell well below our expectations.
The staff was very friendly and both the service and the beer were good, which saved our meal from total disaster.
Our kids (both teens) had chicken tenders and burgers which were average. My corned beef and cabbage was barely lukewarm, unbelievably salty and the meat was tough and my husband's lobster was very poorly cooked and mostly inedible.
Our server was great and didn't charge us for the lobster or the soup she brought when she took away the lobster, but all in all, it was a very forgettable experience.
