I was in the mood for a nice Irish meal at a pub last night, so I went to this pub which was essentially right across the street from my hotel. I saw quite a long line up there on St. Patrick's day, so I waited a few days later to eat. I had a chicken ceasar salad to start, followed by a chicken curry for my main course along with a large pint of Guiness. The server was excellent and very attentive. She made some good recommendations regarding my portion sizes of the salad, ensuring that I didn't get too much for what I was ordering, which was appreciated. The young woman at the door was quite miserable looking and just stared with a look on her face that she wanted to be somewhere else. Lot's of locals were dropping in for a quick pint and running off. The food was very good, the chicken on the salad was a bit overcooked, but the curry was quite delicious. The pint was well poured and served at the right temperature. A decent meal but I'd try some other places before calling it the best.
