Delish cocktails but beware they are potent :) I'd much rather here than solas bar in the same hotel, good music playing here also

Very busy, close to Copley, great food! Cozy, dimly lit, great for a romantic nightcap, or if you want to relax with pals. We were at the Lenox, whihc made it very convenient.

My girlfriend and I were staying at The Lenox Hotel and decided to go down to the City Bar. When we first entered we got a good vibe from the place, its lounge-like atmosphere, the dimmed lights, the well lit bar spirits. Once we sat down, it was impossible to get service! It seemed as though they had one girl taking care of the entire place. We ordered a couple drinks and food. The sangria we ordered was good but the caipirinha tasted like watered down lime juice, terrible! As we are talking about how bad the drink is we hear the people next to us complain about how bad THEIR drinks were (they didn't even finish them). The food was okay, nothing i would go back for. Overall the food was okay, the drinks are bad, service could use some help and they are a bit overpriced. Like the title says... there's better out there.

If you're staying in the Lenox this is a great meeting or pre drink place to have a sit down and chat, without paying sky high prices. Really nice ambiance and was full on the Friday evening we were there. Really nice lighting on the bar to highlight the drinks area, while seating areas were all dimmed down - it takes a while for your eyes to adjust, but makes this a very chilled out place.
