We were given a great tip by our concierge at our hotel during the 4th of July week. She told us to go to the Prudential Center and get tickets (limited to only 100 people) for the fireworks that evening. It was a great place to listen to the Boston Pops and watch the fireworks. We could see fireworks from ALL over the city, it was simply spectacular!!

What a great place you can go shopping, have a bit to eat and see the whole city of Boston from the 360 degree observatory. It was simply just such a great experience. Loved it!

Went at night and the views were stunning. Would have been cool if the elevator had been on the outside, but then my Mom probably wouldn't have gone ;-) The audio guide is included in the admission, and is very interesting and informative, as are the interior exhibits. Since we went at night, we could not see everything the guide talks about, but the descriptions are so good, that many of the main buildings/highlights could still be picked out. Unlike other observation decks I've been on, there was no descriptive text identifying the buildings out each window, and not sure if there are alternatives if one is hearing impaired.

We go to the prudential center, not really for shopping but to go to the top for the great 360 view of Boston.

The first day (saturday), we were told that the top is close for a private event.
Next day, we come back earlier but we were told that the etop is half close for the day for another private event. We add a little discount to go to the top because of that.

Disappointing to get there and not able to get what we want. On top, the view was great and we discover a lot of thing with the audioguide. We were able to set the audioguide to be in French.

Something strange we discovered in the history of Boston, the moslasse disaster of Boston !

A great view on top of the prudential center, its a great thing to do in Boston but watchout, it can be close ! So don't wait at the end of your trip to go there.

From the basement of the Prudential tower take the lift straight to the 50th floor for stunning views of the city and beyond. Adult entrance to the viewing area costs about $15 dollars and includes an audio guide. You can then walk around the floor and take in the views of the city and its surrounds and learn some of the history too. There is a basic souvenir shop but it has nothing of any real interest to buy. Sadly there is no cafe but there is a restaurant another two floors up.
