“Good food, fun, watch the floor”
Reviewed September 16, 2013

The restaurant had average food and good fried fish. But, be wary of the greasy floor. The fish and chips were good and the shrimp po'boy average.

“Right down the middle.”
Reviewed September 8, 2013

Not great. Not bad. Right down the middle. Very good service. Decent food, but nothing spectacular. Good ambience. Enjoyed the crab cakes, but have had better for sure. Probably a decent place to visit when coming to the area for a Fenway game, as there seems to be parking nearby. Just wish I could say something was special about this place, but I could not find it.

“What a Mess!”
Reviewed September 7, 2013

Went in for lunch. Sat at the bar. Bartender couldn't be bothered to tell us what was on tap. Had to ask several times. Ordered fried shrimp dinner. Food was ok, but nothing to write home about. Portions small and pricey. Bartender never refilled our drinks during the entire meal and even after while we sat waiting for her to come by just to get our bill. Felt like we could walk out of the restaurant and she wouldn't even notice. We did not of course. A male bartender finally came by and asked how we were doing. When we told him our drinks had been empty for 30 minutes he apologized and asked if we would like another. At that point we were so fed up we said no, just want our check. We paid our bill and left. Will not go back. Had heard so much about it....were very disappointed.

Went here during restaurant week and got a four course meal including a one and a half pound lobster for only forty dollars . Was a good meal and a unique little place.

“Lobster Dinner”
Reviewed September 5, 2013

They have a large selection of fresh lobster and they prepare it in many ways. I tried the grilled whole lobster. It was very good and relatively easier to eat the way it was prepared.
