I was in Boston for the first time last November for a pathology conference. The Summer Shack was very near my hotel so the first night my husband and I decided to give it a try. They recommended a sampler of oysters on the half shell that were tremendous! This despite that I had pretty much given up on good oysters after several bad experiences in different states. The lobster was also delectable as were the fish and chips. Needless to say, we returned twice in the course of our stay. Every time, we had consistently good service and great food. Jorge, the manager and Pete one of our waiters in particular were attentive and provided excellent customer service even with a busy restaurant. My husband and I are planning a quick trip back to Boston, just to visit this place!
