New Hotel in the Seaport Area. Large well appointed rooms. Hotel is an old warehouse that was beautifully renovated to create a great hotel experience. This hotel is much nicer than any other Residence Inn I have ever stayed in. The staff adds to a wonderful stay.
With a short walk over the bridge to South Station (Amtrak, T) and Faneuil Hall Market we will be back.

Just returned from a weekend stay in Boston. This Residence Inn is unlike any others. I am a Marriott lover and this hotel is just another reason why. The location is nice.. very close to the waterfront and walking distance to the T. We were travelling to see a Red Sox game and it was a $15 cab ride to Fenway for us and our 2 teenagers. The staff was superior. The history in this location is evident. This hotel is definitely our favorite and probably the nicest we have stayed in. Breakfast was great. We can't wait to visit this gem again!

I stayed at the Residence Inn for 4 nights while on business in Boston. The hotel is in the factory district, so the neighborhood is quiet. I was able to walk to Quincy Market in about 20 minutes, and the subway is close by. The studio room was very spacious, and the free breakfast was decent. My only complaint is similar to other reviewers...the sink/vanity is separate from the bathroom, in the sleeping area. This is a shame...the bed is separated from the living area by a wall, but you could easily disturb someone sleeping while using the sink. Other than that, the room had a nice size kitchen area with a full size frig and microwave. The staff was very friendly as well. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a window.

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights and were very pleased with the size of the room, comfort, quietness, cleanliness, and a decent inclusive breakfast. Very convenient location and the T is a short walk nearby.

Room Tip: ask for a room on the fifth or sixth floor overlooking the harbor

We arrived for a long weekend and we were not certain how convenient this would be for the Boston attractions. What a find this Hotel is! There is a trolley stop for the Old Town trolley less than a block away so you can quickly and easily get to all of the Boston sites.

I agree that the staff here is what sets the place apart. Dave at the front desk was always willing to help with any questions and also recommend some great restuarants right in walking distance. Strega is a wonderful italian place where we had a great dinner. Also had a fun lunch at the Barking Crab.

This is much different than any other Residence Inn and we'd highly recommend it for a visit to Boston.

Family vacation: Parents & 24-year-old son. Battled w/ should we stay in the more convenient Long Wharf Residence Inn that was closer to harbor, aquarium, Quincy Market, Freedom Trail, North End. But it's also chaotic and a little "tired" looking area. OR: should we stay in a brand new R. Inn in downtown/seaport area? I decided to go for the newer hotel, even though it would be a little more of a walk, or a subway or cab ride to where we were going. So glad I did.

Ask for a room with windows. I see some complaining that they only had brick walls to look at. Full kitchen a plus, but we really only used it to make coffee, store leftovers and a few food items. Make sure the ice maker is turned on in the freezer. Full sofa to sit on, desk/working/charge electronics area, so much room compared to the typical hotel room with two beds, a bedside table between, a credenza at the foot of the bed and a closet and bathroom. We had space to spread out; natural light from huge windows. Breakfast is a plus, although we're late risers, so to be dressed and down there before 9a was a push. Good variety of food, too.

The only design thing I didn't care for was that the bathroom is attached to the bedroom. So for a third guest(s) sleeping on the pullout queen bed, they have to walk into and through the other guests' bedroom to get to the bathroom. Wish they had a pool.

Short walk to the South Station subway is a plus. Staff very kind to us. Although we arrived at 1p and had to wait around til 3 for room. Went to Lucky's for lunch. Good choice.

Room Tip: Higher floors have harbor view (I read that). At least ask for a room with many windows.

A brand new hotel. Stayed on the 5 floor in a 1 bedroom still had the new hotel smell. Room was amazing with a great mix of a modern hotel with classic style of the Old confectionary factory it use to be. Lobby is anazing the view from the room amazing of the Boston Harbor. This was an amazing stay.
