If you're ever looking for a "quick and easy" lunch while in Boston, make the stop at Cosi. While there are several locations in downtown Boston, I usually go to the one at 53 State Street. They have the best selection of reasonably priced salads (I love the Signature Salad), sandwiches (I love the TBM ... Tomato, Basil and Mozzarella) and flatbread pizzas (I love the Margarhita). You can do it as a "to go," but there is plenty of seating inside with large windows so you feel like you are sitting outside. There is a bowl with free samples of the most delicious bread while you decide what you will have. They also have a rewards club, and it is with great pleasure when I am told my next lunch will be free (every 10 purchases, I believe)! They are efficient and friendly in there, which always adds to the positive experience.
I should also mention that they have really good breakfast sandwiches, and their bagels are to die for (my favorite is the cranberry orange). Fresh fruit and freshly squeezed orange juice further enhance whatever your selection may be! ENJOY!! :D
