If you like spicy Thai food and are in the financial district, look no further. I have yet to order an item I do not like. The basil udon noodles is a nice change from the usual pad thai.

I have tried a few Thai restaurants near Hartford, CT, Arlington and Boston MA. Sweet Chili’s (Arlington, MA) was my first true love, but I have to tell you that after eating at Siam Bistro, there is no other choice.

Situated right in between Quincy Market and the Aquariam, on the corner of Atlantic and Pearl (151 Pearl St), Siam Bistro is within walking distance of some remarkable landmarks and activities. You can spend the entire day in this area and not get bored.

Siam Bistro is a little hole in the wall (right at the corner of the block to be exact), but please don’t let the size of the place fool you. It is clean and well lit with plenty of outside light.

As you sit by the large window facing the street, you see the West bound traffic coming at you on Atlantic Ave. (the waterfront). Something about watching the cars and people going by really adds to the waterfront ambiance. The combination of great food and atmosphere keeps me coming back and that is quite a drive from CT just for some Thai food...just sayin'.

The Crab Rangoon, Vegetable Tempura, and Chicken Satay are second to none…what a combinations of flavors. I always have a bowl of Tom Yum soup with that as well. I never get to order a full entrée because I’m already full and my taste buds are screaming with satisfaction. When your plate is empty, you are vailed with sadness...to know that all the food is gone and you wish you could start all over again.

I hate Broccoli, yet I can eat it all day at Siam's. It comes with the Vegetable Tempura, along with Green Peppers, Onions, Sweet Potato, and Zucchini. I really have to find out what kind of batter they used because it is phenomenal.

You want to impress your Honey, take her to Siam's without telling her. You will score some major points. The rest is on you:)
