A friend recommended this place for lunch. I like sushi. I said "Why not?" So happy I went. My friend ordered a bunch of different things and warned me that the only rule was that we had to finish it all. I'm not a little person by any stretch. Well...we got a platter of sushi. It was all absolutely fresh and delicious. Spicy tuna was perfect. All the different kinds of fish were very fresh and perfectly seasoned. IT was made to order. Delicious. My only warning: I almost could not finish. Be careful how much you order. The atmosphere is fine. Nothing fancy. A lot of college students go here, I think.

I have eaten once a week at the place from January 2013 to April 2013. Their sushi has always been excellent and at under $25 for all you can eat it is an awesome value. I really would like to see places that offer such great food and such a great price succeed BUT there are something at the restaurant that need some attention. The first one being the bathrooms. Anytime when I've ever had to use the restroom at this place it is always in poor condition, poorly maintained and dirty. When my girlfriend was with me she reported that the women's restroom was very dirty and smelly. She said that she was talking to another woman in the restroom who reported that the restroom was always that way, but the sushi was just sooo good at this place. During this visit we were finishing our dinner when I heard commotion several tables away from me. I couldn't see what the issue was, but my daughter report that she and members of this other table saw a mouse. I understand it being an urban area and all but this coupled with the bathrooms really need attention those are the things that kept my ranking lower. I sincerely hope they clean things up around there because it's awesome food at an awesome price.

Sushi buffet for less about 25 in boston, how about that? The sashimi is quite fresh and they have many many varieties of maki and sushi. A great place to go if you love sushi.

If you love sushi and can never get enough of it, you have to try Yamato. It's a buffet, but you don't go and get your own food. They make it on the spot when you put the order in (so prepare to wait a little).

Upon arrival, you are given two different papers with lists of food (appetizer and sushi) and a pencil. You mark the items you want. When your food comes out, you can ask for another piece of paper to put in your second order (which always takes longer than the first).

The appetizer list has items like edamame, seaweed salad, miso soup, salmon teriyaki, dumplings, fried calamari, udon, noodle soup, and more. Obviously these are used to fill your belly but some of the items are actually very delicious. We always order edamame, salad, and stir-fried udon (vegetable and spicy seafood). This menu has the desserts on them too but you can always ask for another paper at the end of your meal.

The sushi menu has a whole list of Sashimi, rolls, regular sushi with rice, hand rolls and some specialty items. You can only get sashimi with DINNER so if you don't like to eat a whole lot of rice with your sushi, DO NOT go for the lunch buffet (it does not include the sashimi option).

The sushi on the whole is good - fish is fresh and it's all very tasty!

If you do go for lunch and don't eat all your rice, you will be given many disapproving looks from the wait staff (and you may get charged for your leftovers - never happened to us before but you never know).

Dessert is hit or miss - last time we went the green tea icecream is really good. They also have fried icecream but usually only with the vanilla flavor. The other flavor they offer is red bean.

**If you go for dinner on the weekend (or even the week sometimes), expect to wait. If you don't want to wait, call ahead - they take reservations!

**They also have an a la carte menu but I haven't seen many people order from this menu. I did once for a lunch special for a kid who was not going to eat any sushi.
