The absolute best food in town. Chef Tony is "THE MAN"! From the appetizers to the main course and dessert too. Everything is incredible, so fresh and portions out of control. The choices are also impressive, everything from home made pasta, to seafood, lamb, beef and chicken. Great wine selection. The wait can be a bit, but they opened a waiting area right across the street which is perfect, Both places have great atmosphere and you get to meet people from all over the place. The waiter, waitresses and bartenders are all friendly and nice. A must visit if your in Boston!!!

Went to Rino's after seeing a re-run of the DDD show. The place was packed and had a 90 minute wait. They opened a bar and appetizer place across the street (brilliant) and we waited there until our table was ready.

Once we got in the door, three of the four of us ordered the lobster ravioli which is made by hand, per order. Yes, it took a little while, but it was as amazing as it looked on the TV show. Totally worth the wait.

Came here after seeing it on Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives. It is now a favorite destination over and over and we are never disappointed! The restaurant is small and they never hurry you, so plan on a leisurely meal. Now that there is a bar / waiting area right across the street, the wait doesn't feel so bad! Before, we could wait on the sidewalk for an hour or more (and yes, it was worth the wait!)

The food is wonderful and DO spend the extra for the home-made pasta. There IS a difference!

Mangia!

This place is tough to find in east Boston, the neighborhood is pretty run down!

If you make it, find a parking spot, and get a seat...... You will fall in love.

This place is a small almost diner cart looking and is super tight inside. The uniqueness is how fresh everything is. The food is absolutely outstanding and the meatballs OMG.

The service was slow but with the fresh food, you expect this.

The food steals my vote, otherwise I would say keep moving.

I will be back over and over. Check for the hours on the website, not open every day.

I saw Rino's on "Diners, Drive-ins & Dives" about 2 years ago and couldn't wait to get back to Boston to try it. Before we left for our trip, I tried to book a reservation but they were maxed out and was told to come early. After reading all the reviews, I knew enough to get there early but even still, didn't make it until 5:30 on Monday. It was more than half full and they still had to seat their reservation times.
There were 6 of us in our party and they requested we go to the bar across the street while they made accommodations for us. Within 15 min we were seated and being entertained by Zane our waiter.
There are a lot of apps & entrees to choose from but knowing the entrees were large, we skipped right to our Lobster Ravioli & Rino's Special. All I can say is "FABULOUS". One of the best meals I've ever had and I'm not a big seafood person.
So, if you are going to be in Boston, I strongly recommend trying out this restaurant. Yes, it is a small restaurant. Yes, you will have to wait. Yes, it is worth it!
