“Creative Sashimi & Delicious Creations!”
Reviewed November 5, 2012 via mobile

If you are craving raw succulent fish, look no further. Fresh, inventive & good sized portions. The location is super cool but not even close to snobby. We felt right at home, very cozy for a date night. It even got my husband in the mood to share a scorpion bowl for 2! You can't go wrong here, I'm hoping to make it to one of their saki bomb Sunday's!

“Outstanding sashimi with a modern touch”
Reviewed August 13, 2012

I visited Uni alone in August 2012 after a long day with back-to-back meetings.

I had the 8-course tasting menu with beer and sake while sitting at the counter. I asked to have the menu heavily weighted towards sashimi given that this is what Uni is famous for. The result was that I got to sample 6 different sashimi dishes together with some eel and a dessert. The entire meal was excellent and the fish was very fresh. Uni is somewhat more edgy than Nobu and reminded me of Zuma.

In conclusion, Uni is a great place and much more affordable than O Ya.

“Great Shashimi”
Reviewed November 22, 2011

Very impressive fresh food created right before you. All the superbly fresh seafood is on display on ice and is prepared by Chef Chris in succulent fashion. The staff is friendly and if you sit at the bar Chris will engage you in conversation while preparing your meal. I highly recommend this restaurant with a unique contemporary flair. It is located in the Eliot Hotel and ajoins another fine restaurant, Clio.
