My wife and I have been to Boston several times and we always make a stop to Doyle's. We first went there after the Samuel Adams brewery tour. We hopped on the party bus and went to Doyle's. We have always had good service and the food is always good. We love the atmosphere and the beer selection is very good. We usually get a pizza to go as well which is very good. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to everybody, and can't wait to come back.

We were recommended to try Doyle's by the Sam Adam's brewery. Great little place with great food and great ambiance. Server was fantastic and its great that you get to keep your glass if you order a sam's and turn in your tour ticket. Highly recommend the food.

Going to an Irish pub can be a crap shoot- you never know, what you'll get and this one is a wonderful local spot that makes me wish i lived nearby. Our server, a wonderful Irish red-head who seems to love her job, was so kind - she sat us where it seemed a private party was happening, but that was ok, we were well taken care of, by her~ very knowledgeable and attentive.

We visited here, 3 of us, after our Sam Adams brewery tour - our ticket, with purchase of their beer, got us a take-home glass (Sam Adams glasses are special, google them). We had all been through a tasting and walked it off getting there-ordering fish and chips seemed a "given."

Prices are reasonable, the place is HUGE, and everyone seems to have been having a good time - 6pm-ish.

A wonderful shared onion ring app, salad and shared fish and chips was so yummy.

Light batter, lightly fried scrod (my guess), and it fell apart getting to your mouth - very tender.

The ten minute trolley ride from Sam Adams to Doyle's is what makes it. The trolley driver is awesome. We laughed the whole time. Do not miss this!!! "Doyle's!!!" Take the trolley and you'll see what I mean.

The food was decent/average, but the service was the slowest and least attentive we've had in a long time (and we are not high maintenance). Worth a look if nothing more than for the ambience and film/movie history.
