I dined at Tasca Tapas Restaurant last night with my family. We ordered the following:
Queso fritos de cabra
Jamon Serrano y Queso Manchego
Croquetas de pollo y jamon
Brie a la plancha
Pitcher of red Sangria
Though everything was delicious and cooked to perfection, hands down the 2 best dishes are the Croquetas de pollo y jamon (Chicken and ham croquettes served with Romesco sauce (contains almonds)) and the Calamares fritos (Fried calamari with salsa Andalucia). The calamari were so good that we asked for a second order. My brother said that they were the best calamari that he has ever had. For dessert we shared the Crepe Helado (Cookie ice cream rolled in a thin crepe and smothered in a chocolate and amaretto sauce with toasted almonds). Like everything else we ordered, it was very good.
The service was excellent. Our waitress was friendly and was always there when we needed her but did not hover. Parking is a little tough but a valet service is offered for about $6.00. We will be sure to return to this great restaurant.
