Really nice atmosphere on the water. Started with chowder and garlic bread. I chose scallops with linguine in a fra diavolo sauce. It had just the right amount of heat. My girlfriend had broiled scallops which were also delicious. Our waiter Tomas was attentive and kept a watchful eye on us. Highly recommended. Moderate prices. Great atmosphere.

This restaurant seats maybe 20-24 people and only takes cash. From what I'm told there is a line outside that stretches a few store lengths every day because people know a good meal. The Linguini with clams was exquisite, and the rest of my family ate shellfish with marinara and a combination meal. Somehow we bypassed the crowd when we came by in the mid afternoon. It is a small restaurant and you can watch the chef cook your meal through a glass partition. The meals are kind of expensive, but worth every penny.

Looking the review should be delicious restaurant. We went there for lunch. We came at the right time no need for queuing.
The restaurant very small but very busy. We order agio olio for me not very tasty. What great about the food, I don't understand

When my husband and I visited family in Plymouth years ago, our trips always included a trip to The Daily Catch for lunch or dinner. This year, after 17 years of not getting to MA, we included Boston on our family road trip with our now 18 and 15 year old sons; we wanted them to experience the awesome food at The Daily Catch. We visited this week, and it was EXACTLY as we remembered it then! The dishes are still prepared while you watch, and the atmosphere was the same as well! We first enjoyed the best calamari appetizer--went with the small portion, and it went fast! Our meals also did not disappoint! We enjoyed the shrimp and linguine in white sauce, the clams and calamari in white sauce, the shrimp and scallops in white sauce, and calamari platter! The boys loved watching their meals being prepared and having them served in the frying pans they were cooked in! If you find yourself at the North End on Hanover Street, make it a point to try The Daily Catch! The meals are pretty expensive, but you DEFINITELY get what you pay for! If you're shy about sitting with strangers, you might be uncomfortable. Also be aware that only cash is accepted--no credit cards!

After the recommendation from the concierge I went to the Daily Catch with great anticipation- only to be greatly disappointed. The restaurant is extremely small . In fact the seat which I was at you could not literally get your legs completely underneath the table. Water was served in a plastic cup. The cook literally was arguing very loudly with another staff person which caught other customers attention. The food was average/fair.
When I entered the establishment, I asked the head hostess ( who was very nice an attentive) for a menu however he referred me to a large chalkboard which denoted the meals selections; however, I noticed when two other customers arrived...they were offered a menu.
I was also disappointed because before visiting this restaurant and viewing their online menu it appears the Daily Catch located on Hanover Street does not offer the full menu as its other location- AND their website NEVER clarified this helpful information.
In closing, I do not anticipate visiting said location again. It was a really disenfranchising experience- especially their cook loudly yelling and slamming pots because he was upset with a colleague.
