When in the North End, this is a must. An old house converted into a restaurant situated next to the Paul Revere house. What could be more historic? I have been here in both a business and family setting, and the food was excellent and consistent both times. Service was great and the best part is that there is valet parking as the North End lacks on that front.

We had a large group of friends meeting in Boston and 15 of us went to Mamma Maria's. Our reserved tables were waiting for us in a secluded room. Jason, our server was very friendly and very attentive. He helped with wine recommendations which were reasonable and well matched with the appetizers and entrees. I ordered the ossobuco which was delicious. The salads and appetizers were not too large but very tasty. I especially enjoyed the caprese salad. Everyone enjoyed the meal except one of the women mentioned that her entree was salty and the server, who was not in the room at the time of the comment, brought her a replacement entree without her asking.

We were traveling with a large group for St Patty's weekend. Mamma Maria's was very accomodating and put us all in a private room. Our server was attentive and offered lots of helpful suggestions regarding the food and wine selection. And he offered to take a group photo of us outside after our meal even though it was past midnight and I'm sure he was ready to be rid of us. As far as the food, it was excellent with a variety of choices to accomodate our group. Would definitely visit again.

Had a lovely meal here. The food and service were both excellent. We also liked that they had half bottles of wine. Really impressive selection.
