You don't need to pile on the extra meat and cheese. The sauce and dough make this wonderful pie with good cheese. Pizza the way it is best.

We ate at the one in the North End. Had heard so much about it. We just stopped by right at the opening of dinner and sat at the bar-no wait at all. I have heard that lines can be brutal. Was the pizza good? Yes! Hot, fresh with good crispy-chewy crust. Was it worth waiting in line for a hour or more? Nope. The bartender was great. He was so paranoid and right wing, that he made me shake my head. Tiny little wine glasses and decent selection of american and Italian wines to choose from...

I have lived in the North End for a long time, and have been going to the Regina for years. We survived all those hot Summers with no AC, just to eat this pizza. The ovens are seasoned to cook these pizzas just right,it's the beast

We've been here three times and it was great once, very good once, and just OK once. The atmosphere is about as old school Boston as you can get. Crowded, loud, and full of character(s). Pizza can come out a bit burnt at times. Always a wait (outside).

If you like VERY think crust, fresh ingredients and lots of olive oil...this is the place for you! It's small and you're packed in, but the pizza is delicious and thin and the waitesses have attitude...lol
