We were in the neighborhood for a music conference at the Boston Conservatory, and noticed this place on our way to the car. It looked intriguing from the outside - just had that appearance of "good food and beer will be inside here". When we entered, we were promptly greeted and seated, having been offered the choice of a high top or a booth. We took the high top. Drink orders were taken quickly, and we received good advice about the menu from our waitress. We had two small pizzas, bruschetta, a salad with toasted goat cheese, and one other polenta appetizer with asparagus. ALL of it exceeded our expectations for deliciousness. Dairy-vegetarians are easily satisfied here. The beers were quite good, too. I had a coffee porter and my husband had a weiss beer.

This restaurant is within striking distance of: Symphony Hall, The Boston Conservatory, the New England Conservatory, the Berklee College of Music, Northeastern University, and the big Christian Science center.

Stop in - you'll be so glad you did!

I love Woody's. It is conveniently located in a quiet stretch near Boylston Street, close enough to Fenway Park that you could go there and walk roughly 10 minutes to the game. The pizza never disappoints, and they have an excellent beer selection as well. The atmosphere is casual but cozy, service is always super friendly, and prices are very reasonable. Definitely a consistently enjoyable choice.

We had several meals at Woody's during Labor Day weekend while moving my daughter into a Boston college apartment. Woody's is a great neighborhood restaurant the fits the bill for anyone looking for delicious and reasonable food. The pizza is excellent, and the house salad with grilled chicken is a favorite. Everyone in our large group, parents and students, were pleased with their choices. The servers are very friendly. I recommend this place and will be back many times!

We ordered wings, salad, and a pizza. It was a good meal but the pizza was a little soggy in the middle.
