What we love about restaurants on Newbury Street is being able to eat on the outside patios, weather permitting. We should have chose the outside dining this time since it is very noisy inside Sonsie. The atmosphere and the food is very good, however. The calamari appetizer is terrific!

I went here on a Sunday afternoon for brunch. the choices were good and the did was good too; and prices too are fine. However the service was extremely slow even though the place was not exactly hopping. I waited almost half an hour for the food to appear after giving in my order, also before ordering I asked for coffee and that took at least ten minutes to appear.

We had a good time. Matteo, our waiter, was very obliged and up for a nice chat too. The wines were all good. The food was mixed: The mussles were delicious, the artichoke too little and the fried calamari so-so. However, you come here for the vibe and people watching and this is what you find here better than anywhere else.

The Bronzini was very good and the portion was just right for me. My husband said his sirloin was just ok. Also the steak did not come with any sides so he needed to order some. Glasses of wine were a good size pour. Typical pricing for a "city" restaurant.

This is a lovely little restaurant on Newbury Street and the menu is small and unusual. Great pasta dishes and very attentive staff.
