Found the place on DDD and had a very plesant breakfast experience with my wife and grandchildren. The diner was clean and the service fast even though the place was crowded. One of the kids had the chocolate chip pancakes which were huge, one would have been enough while the other had the french toast with two scrambled eggs. The Mrs. had the waffle, plain, with two sunny side eggs, excellent and I had the two eggs scrambled with home fries and the hash which everyone should try, if you like corned beef hash. The kids also had hot chocolate, which was very hot, topped with a huge pile of whipped cream.
If your looking for a diner experience, this is it.

By the way, bring cash. Credit cards are not accepted. If you should happen to forget, there is a ATM Conveniently on site.

This is by far the best corned beef hash I personally have ever had! The corned beef is not ground, nor is the hash made from big giant whole hunks of corned beef - rather, the corned beef is chopped into recognizable bite size portions, with potatoes, seasoning, and it is pressed flat and fried very crispily - fantastic! Coffee was excellent, too, not weak or diner-ish - it had depth and character, a very good brew. If you want jam on your toast, you are given a jar of fresh strawberry jam - I am not sure if the chef makes it himself or if he has someone make it for him, but someone is making this from scratch - it's really good! The vibe inside is diner-y, but it is upscale at the same time - we will definitely return!

The corned beef omelette was out of this world. It's typical diner food, just a little better, great ambiance....

Just had a wonderful breakfast at Mike's. I would recommend the "emergency room". This place is obviously a local favorite and the service was excellent, the food was delicious and the portions were huge.
