Description: We know shopping induces hunger - and Legal Sea Foods reels in those who want to splash down for a meal or grab-and-go. Our restaurant is located on the upper level of Copley Place, with direct indoor access to both the Westin and Marriott hotels as well as to the Prudential Center. Panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows overlook Boston's historic South End. Here the views and the seafood are second to none.

Very nice views of the city. We saw on the website that they had a combo that included chowder and boston cream pie, exactly what we were wanting. However the server had no idea what we were talking about when we tried to order it. Instead we just ordered each item separately. The chowder was very good but not anything to write home about. The cream pie, however, was outstanding, and we were fighting each other with our spoons for the last bite.

The food was awesome, portions were good, but the price made it a one time stop. The wait staff was also excellent.

Met up with a friend from out of town on a recent Wednesday night for dinner at 7:30 and we finished at 10:10. It wasn't our intention to linger over dinner for that long, but that is what happened. The restaurant was less than half full, but the service was beyond lame. Our server seemed very distracted and not in the moment. The food was good but the service was extremely poor, and it marred an much anticipated get together. We waited over an hour for the meal be served and no one came to explain. Finally, we were served, except for one of us, which took another ten minutes, which was served be the manager who realized what was happening and comped the late meal. Coffee serviced with out a spoon! Even paying the bill took forever. Very disappointed, not a fine dinning experience, considering the high price.

Nice restaurant, nice atmosphere, good food. I always eat at Legal Seafood whenever I am in Boston. Once again, I wasn't let down.

We had a great meal here. They have a great gluten free menu for my wife, including fish and chips. I had a mixed wood fire grill with 3 types of fish, shrimp, and scallops. They also have great clam chowder. Seafood is all fresh-if it was caught more than 3 days ago they will not use it.
