Description: We know shopping induces hunger - and Legal Sea Foods reels in those who want to splash down for a meal or grab-and-go. Our restaurant is located on the upper level of Copley Place, with direct indoor access to both the Westin and Marriott hotels as well as to the Prudential Center. Panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows overlook Boston's historic South End. Here the views and the seafood are second to none.

The restaurant is a good lunch stop while shopping at Copley. We sat at the bar since we didn't want to spend 30-40 minutes waiting for a table. The service, ordering through the bartender, was awful. Having to ask for silverware, refills on water, the check, etc was frustrating. The fish and chips was done perfectly, light and crispy, however, the chopped Greek salad was off the mark with way too much lettuce, slivered black olives, very few tomatoes, specks of cucumber, and only a few sightings of feta!! Very disappointing.

There are so many Legal Seafood Restaurants in Boston, this one is close to the Marriott. There were 11 of us for dinner. We got a long table and this place is not as nice as the one at the Prudential Center. Though the food served was good, the service was slow. This will not be my first choice if going to a Legal Seafoood Restaurant. I would pick the one at Prudential.

This was the closest Legal Seafoods to our hotel at Copley Square and it happened to be in the Mall. We chose a high top in the bar and sat down right away. The server recommended an oyster sampler mixed with new england and west coast oysters and it did not disappoint. Be aware that where ever you go in Boston the oysters on the half shell are expensive, especially if you are from the south and you are used to $.50 oysters, you will have some sticker shock. With that said they were amazing and worth it. My wife had the crab cakes for dinner and loved them. She often finds crab cakes to be fishy but these were really fresh. I had the seafood casserole with scallops, lobster, scrod, and shrimp and it was great. A+ all the way around for this small chain of seafood restaurants.

The clam chowder is not to be missed! Seafood is fresh and inviting. Atmosphere nothing special,
Very pedestrian...Crowded with business travelers. Able to get in at last minute. Delicious way to spend a snowy evening without traveling far.
