The headline says it all. Also, a convenient location on Boston's swank Newbury Street, nice bar and tasteful decor including the artwork. Wine selection with impressive variety. A unique and wonderful selection of salads and entres. Special lunch for us. A light stir fry composes of Brussels sprouts, sliced carrots over brown rice with either chicken, shrimp or steak. Quality burgers, pizzas and other selections.
For dessert the chef baked some oatmeal cookies for us.
Enjoyed the experience.

We love to stroll and window shop on Newberry St. It's a must do every time we're in Boston. The shops are unique and we especially appreciate the second hand stores. Stop for breakfast or lunch at the Trident!

I ordered a dish w/chicken thighs & what they brought out was breast meat. It was dry & not very good. The manager didn't really seem to care at all.

Recently I looked for a restaurant on Newbury that had been amazing but when I googled it this restaurant came up instead- I incorrectly assumed they had just changed names and it would be in the same location & similar to the one I had looked for. I made a reservation ( they didn't have it)
sat outside at a wobbly table & ordered- he was an unfriendly gentleman who never smiled. We had our pasta dish , oysters & lobster roll all were adequate but not great. He never refilled our glasses , brought more bread or asked if we wanted coffees or desert. Lunch was over $30 a person ( which would of been fine if the food/ service was great) but looking at a bill where they charged $4 for an ice tea that was never refilled - I would never go back.

Lovely little bistro on classy Newbury Street. Good drinks from the tiny bar at the front, cosy atmosphere and good food. Staff was outstanding - great service
