“On a downslope”
Reviewed March 26, 2007

The building has North End charm (it is not really in the Theater District). However, neither Dom nor Marcello came to the table as advertised in order to discuss the menu with our table of 8. (Dom has retired & Marcello is dead).

3 ravioli entrees were COLD, and served on COLD plates. I love al dente, but I would like my linguini to at least seem to have been cooked. Stuffed Zucchini was a clear loser.

Orders for a bottle each of house red & white wine took forever, and on one of the three occasions, only the red came. The one waitron for
the entire basement level was charming, but clearly overworked. I am afraid that Dom's is on the way down!

“Loved Dom's!”
Reviewed July 20, 2006

A quaint, homey Italian restaurant in Boston's North End, Dom's stands out not only for its food -- which is fantastic -- but for warm hospitality dished out by Dom himself. There's a menu, of course, but the best way to order is to converse with the owner and let him make recommendations. During our recent visit to Boston, our family dined at Dom's for the first time and definitely will return on our next trip to Beantown!
