We walked in about 10pm and enjoyed excellent service and some good drinks and late night burgers! I expect the steaks to always be good but found the burgers, quesadillas, and drinks to be very good. This was all at teh bar which operates much like a sports bar with multiple ames on the tv's.

After reading mixed reviews we had mixed feelings about eating there. However the food was excellent, service fantastic and a good selection of wines.

The restaurant itself is very old school in decor with wood panels and linens which all help to give the place a great atmosphere.

We skipped starters but the three of us had salmon, surf and turf and scallops with sides of potato and asparagus which we all enjoyed and then we shared a trio of puddings and apple pie.

We had a great meal and would definitely go again.

We stayed at the Boston plaza and as my wife was tired of walking we decided to eat locally. What a mistake.
Outside the restaurant it stated happy hour until 6.30 pm but when seated was informed that that's was wrong.

We ordered calamari, and it came in looking good but it was sooo tough that it was hard to chew. Still having a lot of calamari left, the server brought in our salads. My wife's salad had some very bitter lettuce in it and she could not finish it.
Now time for our main dishes, I had the steak and lobster which had a tiny lobster take and 4 tiny slices of beef that was very tough andy wife had top sirloin that was so tough we could not eat it and broccoli that looked like it was cooked 2 weeks ago, frozen and reheated.

The manager did take off the price of the main dishes but still, stay away from this joint, it is bad.

We tried the Boston, Quincy Market location for lobster. The service was good, but the food was nothing special. For the most part, the menue is al larte and even for a prime location somewhat expensive, e.g., one pound lobster $25 with a small spattering of patotoes and squash. The clam chowder is done with a spice that keeps it out of the realm of traditional clam choweder. They have outdoor seating and the market area has a great vibe.

NOTE: DO NOT PARK AT WORLD WIDE PARKING AT 20 CLINTON STREET. ONE HOUR WILL COST YOU $29.
