“Wonderful Oyster selection”
Reviewed January 15, 2014

By London standards this place has the best selection of oysters. The main menu is limited but very interesting with fried clams to lobster blt it's an eclectic choice. The basement restaurant is a little quirky but works never the less. Have to say the wait staff were brilliant never in your face but always attentive when you need it. Wine by the glass is ok but full list has some classic whites and all at reasonable prices compared to London that is. Once again a seat at the bar works for me. Boston next year and this place is a must see again

“Just outstanding...insane seafood!!”
Reviewed January 14, 2014

My daughter is studying in Boston and took us to this place. Wow! A fantastic place for seafood...had the fried oysters (wow), the lobster roll (amazing) and the fried clams....
It was busy and we had to wait, but it was worth it! Kinda cramped quarters in this small restaurant but do for fear..it is all worth it!!!

“Basket Island Oysters!! Wow!”
Reviewed January 13, 2014

One of our favorite spots when in Boston. This time we took my niece who loves oysters. We ordered a variety but LOVED the Basket Island oysters from Maine. Plump and flavorful.

“Very Enjoyable Lunch”
Reviewed January 3, 2014

Our family had lunch at the bar during a recent visit. Intimate setting with friendly service. Good selection of oysters and are server was knowledgeable about the taste of each type of oyster. Fried clams were also good. Best clam chowder I have had in Boston.

“Dining Jackpot Redux”
Reviewed December 29, 2013

I would like to confirm the recent restaurant review by my fellow San Francisco area trip advisor. Fortunately we didn't have any trouble getting a reservation, but this was probably because we ate here during the low season between Christmas and New Year's Day. Since this place is so small, I believe reservations are probably essential most of the year.

My wife and I both had the oysters to start with (Fancy Sweet and Blue Yonder, both excellent), followed by the Branzino and the Lobster Roll. The Sicilian wine, Terre Nere, goes well with these.

Knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly wait staff (all female). Utilitarian tables and seats. Sitting at the counter right on top of the chefs should be fun for those who like this kind of thing.

Fresh well prepared seafood is expensive but good value for the money.
