We had the fortune of going to Boston during restaurant week, so great eats, for cheaper price. B&G is a bit off the beaten path but soo very well worth it and filled with locals, GOOD SIGN! The atmosphere was very warm and inviting especially with all the cold outside. We had a three course meal each. I had an arugula salad that was amazingly tasty. My main meal was red beet spaetzel with pearl onion and goat cheese...YUM!! and my dessert was a chocolate cream pie, too die for. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. Server was knowledgable and attentive!

Great seafood restaurant without the attitude. A must !!! Small restaurant great for a date or for a night out with friends !!! If its too noisy inside there is a little terasse where you can enjoy a quieter meal !!!

This restaurant had a amazing selection of Oysters to choose from. We ate outside on the terrace which is actually basement level. The food was good and the staff was friendly and attentive. The prices were high. Our waitress recomended some good wines.

Sure there is a lovely patio and the food is ok, but way overpriced, but "pah-leese" drop the attitude. Warm and friendly are not the two adjectives I would use here. My lunch was sitting in the serving area almost ten minutes until they delivered it to me. Yup, we patrons can see most everything from sitting at the bar. The service was at a minimum. Better places to spend for better food.

If you like oysters and honest seafood, this place is for you. It's a young place, with outdoor and indoor seating, high energy but small enough that you don't feel you get lost. Wonderful wait staff that knows their stuff, fantastic oysters and great wine and beer. I'll often look at the beer menu to decide if a place knows what it's doing and they did.
Ate there twice and loved it each time.
