“Very nice place in nice area”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 12, 2012

This restaurant was within walking distance of our hotel in a very nice are of Boston. The restaurant itself is cute and the staff is very friendly. The menu was ok. We expected the food to be a little spicier, but overall it was a very nice experience. I would recommend this restaurant. We did not have kids with us, but there were several families with little ones in tow eating there.

“Delicious flavors - delicate and fragrant.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 6, 2012 via mobile

As a novice to Persian cuisine this was a delightful introduction. Utterly delicious and deceptively filling, the food was fresh, complex without being fussy and extremely flavorful. Service is warm, extremely welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. Altogether a good experience. Go.

“Not authentic persian cuisine”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 30, 2012

Despite some of the glowing and positive reviews, this place does not serve authentic persian food. I have eaten here now twice 8 years apart. The prices, outrageous. Service pretentious especially if they think you may be Persian/Iranian/Middle Eastern. The food is made to cater to the an American audience. The quality of ingredients fair. The menu and atmosphere is tired. I would never recommend this place to anyone who wants to try authentic persian cuisine. They would do well spending some time in establishments in the greater DC area or southern California.

“Never Dissapoints”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 28, 2012

My wife and I started going to Lala Rokh a few years back while she was working in Boston. Each meal was an amazing experience. The restaurant always seemed to find the best waitstaff in the area. The remarkable service was second only to the consistently, almost too perfect food. The desserts, especially the saffron ice cream, are dishes that will haunt you and make you yearn for your next trip to arguably Beacon Hill's best offering.
