“An Englishman in Boston visits 'little Italy'”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

Described on the menu as 'little italy' food and service really good, I had the Veal, and very good it was, whilst the good lady had Rigatoni D Chicken Marsala, and said it was one of the tastiest pasta dishes she has ever had... reasonably priced, clean, tasty what more do want

“The chopped salad is great”
Reviewed October 24, 2012

we always love the chopped salad. Nice balance of prosciutto, nuts and lettuce. The service here is ridiculously slow and it seems like they don't care. But we like the simple italian menus and walking there when in Boston

“Great Italian Restaurant with Atmosphere”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

We visited Maggiano's here at the recommendation of the Boston Trolley Tour driver 'Christian' and were very pleased with the atmosphere , attention of the staff and quality of the food. We didnt realise that this was is a 'chain' and it didnt show any signs of that. Atmosphere was great with Frank Sinatra singing in the background and we could have been in a remake of scenes from the Godfather. There was a slight mix up with our starter order and when pointed out we were offered an immediate replacement and this was deducted from our bill.
We would definitely go back here.

“Good food poor service”
Reviewed October 19, 2012 via mobile

The food was ok but the service was very poor. There were some large groups in when we visited and do they got the attention of the staff. Our waiter was very arrogant. Some food is microwaved which us disappointing when you expect freshly prepared, at that price

“Taste of Italy”
Reviewed October 16, 2012

We turned up on a wet Sunday night without a booking. We were told that we could have a table in 15 minutes and sure enough 15 minutes later our name came over the tannoy.

We were shown to our seats in an extremely busy and noisy restaurant (surely a good sign). Service, although slightly slow at the start, was friendly and efficient.

The food was excellent, although the portions were on the very large side. Good value for money for a restaurant in central Boston.
