“Average Mexican Place”
Reviewed August 7, 2012

The Good:
1. Close to the Aquarium and other downtown areas
2. The price is right
3. The food was Ok not great and not bad
4. Easy to find

The Bad:
1. No view at all... its in the basement
2. Avoid the "Home cooked fries" they are not home cooked and they were burned in dark brown mess
3. There is one TV but you cannot see it from all angles especially from where i was
4. The Place is dated and and in serious need of updating
5. They put salt on the floors to avoid moisture but after awhile you cannot miss the feeling that you are in a shed. Better air conditioning would have helped

“For turists that don't know where to go.”
Reviewed July 31, 2012

5 Stars??? COME ON!!!!!

The only reason I don't give them only one star is because the food is not that terrible. This was not my first time here, I thought it was going to be, but couple of friends wanted to come here for Taco Tuesdays.
Can I tell you what I hate the most about this place?

******** SERVICE******* SERVICE**** SERVICE********

Does anybody smiles there? really!! The 5 of us agreed that the service was really bad. it was so bad, that we left without even trying the $1 tacos.

Sorry, but $2 tacos at Tremont 647 was way better.

This is a tourist trap but it has a lot of potential for locals, like us. I just wish they will treat us better.

I don't think i will EVER come back. Wait for the next Holiday so tourists can come.

:-( ;-( ;-(

btw: The tequila they use for the $4 margaritas..... ay ay ay ... maybe %2 agave??? lol. just saying.

“Surprisingly good for the location”
Reviewed June 28, 2012

Despite being in a tourist spot, this place impressed. The $4 margaritas are quite a draw, but the menu itself is good too. We enjoyed the nachos; I ordered the fajitas, which were a generous portion, flavorful, and decently priced. Overall, a good spot if you're in this area.
