“Decent Chinese Food”
Reviewed December 29, 2011

We arrived early (5ish) to grab dinner before a Bruins game. Staff were still sitting around a table in the center of the dining room prepping green beans. They continued through our meal, and then brought out a bin of pea shoots to clean well into the dinner hour. It was a little odd. Ordered hot and sour soup for the table (a small feeds 4) - it was good, but a little gelatinous. My daughter's wonton soup had shrimp in the wontons, which she didn't expect or like. The Peking pan fried dumplings were outstanding. We had the sesame chicken, which was basic and good, and the mu shu pork, which was also basic and good. My daughter found a piece of shrimp in the mu shu - so that was a little disconcerting knowing how many people are allergic to shellfish.

“Great spot for a business lunch”
Reviewed November 18, 2011

Went here with coworkers and had one of the combo lunches. The meal came with lobster, two different squid dishes, a beef dish with peppers, tofu, soup, a scallop dish, and rice. The food was good, hot, and tasty. One squid dish was a tad too salty. The garlic lobster was excellent.

The service is fine. Not top class, but fine.

The restaurant is clean, the bathroom is a typical chinatown bathroom.

I'd go here again for business lunch or with friends.

“You'll feel like you're in an Asian city eating with locals”
Reviewed November 5, 2011

Don't come here if you hate fish. That is what they are about-large tanks with your dinner swimming in them as you enter. The dungeness crab was fresh and delicious. clams in black bean sauce tasty. We had a freshwater fish called baramundi and it was shown before cooking and clearly was fresh from the water! maybe not for the squeamish! good place to eat if you like fish and want something different. no egg drop soup and fortune cookies here.

“Great food but service disappointing”
Reviewed August 29, 2011

On the last night of our visit to Boston, we decided to try this restaurant because it was the only one that we could find that served oysters with ginger and green onions. The food was good; the oysters were a little mushy but the flavour was great. The lobster with Thai sauce was excellent. However, they didn't provide any utensils, finger bowl, wet napkins or extra napkins (paper or cloth) for the lobster. They just dropped off the food and never once checked back with us. The tea became cold and they finally got the hint to refill the pot after we opened the teapot lid. Then they complained that we left a poor tip and told us we were wrong to leave a bad tip for poor service. So, since the food tasted good, but the service was poor and the waiter retorted, we give only an average rating.
