I stayed at this hostel for three nights, the rooms are very clean so are the bathrooms! Everybody has a locker and enough space to put their luggage!
The hostel organizes fun things to do in Boston, such as tours, visits to Museums, dinners, bowling nights, Karaokee and tons more.
The staff also helps you find your things and special wishes, directions to places, information about bus and plain connections!
It was a great visit to Boston, I'll be back! THANKS!

Set aside preconceived notions about hostels. This location opened June 2012 and is every bit as comfortable as any 3 star Boston hotel without the price tag. Within a block of subway & bus lines, 3 blocks to Boston Public Gardens, corner of Chinatown, walkable to most all Boston tourist attractions. Included: Comfortable bedding, flatscreen, WI-FI, lite breakfast or fix your own using fully equipped kitchen. Laundry available. Bring your own shampoo, shower cap, lotion. Satff was helpful and friendly without exception. I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in Boston and will likely consider hostel alternative in other cities after this exceeded expectations experience.

Room Tip: Rm 507 was great room with in room temp. controls, hugh bathroom.

Recently done up, this hostel is one of the best I've stated at.

The breakfasts were great, facilities are all new, activities are arranged each day for those inclined and all the staff are really nice.

The hostel is also conveniently located in Chinatown and about 4min from South station.

Lastly, they held a pizza party when we stayed so we had free pizza on Wednesday...awesome!

Very nice, clean, new, and well featured. All it is missing is a gym and a swimming pool.

For the volume of people that come through here every day, they do a pretty good job with handling all of the customers and trying to keep the place clean.

I came in with thoughts of a hostel being a scary, dirty, horrible place. This was none of the above.

Rooms are basic and clean, with bunk beds each with two pillows, a blanket, a towel, and a large locker (bring your own padlock or buy one at the front desk for for dollars.)

Bathrooms are a plenty, and each are cleaned as often as possible. Of course with several people going in and out throughout the day and night, I don't envy the housekeeping staff. I'm sure their day goes by quickly though! With dozens of full bathrooms on each floor, I never had to walk more than a few paces to find a vacant bathroom. By the way although the bathrooms are shared, they are still private (a lock on the door), large, and cleaned more than once a day. Some of these kids are slobs though, so you might find that someone didn't even try to clean up after themselves. I can live with that to save a couple hundred dollars.

Finally the amenities. There are lots of areas to sit and relax, watch tv, meet people, etc. There is a small library, a pool table, a laundromat (pay with coins, credit is 50 cents extra), and a large, shared, fully featured kitchen and cafeteria.

With all if the nice amenities, I was actually disappointed that they don't have a gym or pool. Nothing to get upset about. I guess not every hostel can be like the ymca.

The location, which I have heard was seedy in the past, is in chinatown (though it's the least chinese chinatown I've ever seen.) It's close to two or three train lines and a short walk from the common.

Overall, I was very impressed, and will look for more hostels run by this company in my future travels.

I stayed in this hostel as part of a group trip in June 2012.

The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable and everything was modern. We were in a room of four people. The only problem with our room was the air conditioning, with the control box being in the room next to ours - it was quite loud and set too cold for us, but fortunately the staff did everything they could to sort it out.

Free breakfast is offered, and includes cereal/toast/fruit etc. The kitchen/dining area is clean and modern, but gets busy quickly.

Overall this was one of the nicest hostels I've stayed in and the staff were very helpful.
