My girlfriend and I went to Boston to catch a Sox game and have a nice couple of days away; and we certainly got that! Everyone from the minute we arrived until the minute we drove off, were fantastic! They were sincere, friendly, helpful and fun. Our room was gorgeous, comfy and clean. The staff graciously offered to bring a fridge and coffee maker to our room, which we loved having. Everyone at the desk made a sincere effort to speak to us and smile every time we walked past them. They never seemed too busy or inconvenienced, which is so nice! I would certainly love to stay there again!

We are staying for 5 nights and after only 2 nights here cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. My husband had 'requested' via email direct to the hotel a room with a view of Fenway Park as we're both huge Red Sox fans and come to Boston from Scotland every second year for games as well as going to Spring Training every March. We entered our room to be greeted with a fantastic view of The Green Monster! The rooms are huge and the bathrooms also very large. The shower is really powerful which is great and you get a proper hand held hair dryer. The entire hotel is absolutely spotless (and I'm a clean freak). The front desk staff are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. The doormen are great and we've had a few chats/laughs with them about the Sox. On our first day, we were just about to leave for the first of our five Sox games, when wine, chocolates and a personal note arrived at our room courtesy of the hotel to wish us a happy anniversary. Then, when we came home from the game (5min walk) we came into our room to find two original Fenway Park seats placed at our window facing the Park! Amazing stuff. We have another three nights here and we're loving it. Thank you to all the staff, you have been fantastic and the management should be extremely proud of all of them. We will only ever stay in this hotel again when visiting Boston and The Red Sox.

The entire staff -from the valet service to the front desk staff- were exceptional. They went out of their way to make sure that we had a great experience. We have never had a better hotel stay anywhere. The accommodations were wonderful (our kids said these were the best beds ever) and the hotel is in a fabulous location.

Besides just about 2 blocks away from Boylston and Newbury street and a stone throw away from Fenway park, and nicely decorated and very clean rooms and excellent Wifi, I have to say their staff are so helpful and friendly. Look for Saun and gang, they are all wonderful. Car rental was very convenient as Enterprise was just up Commonwealth Ave. Daily parking rate for guests though was high. I was however disappointed that I couldn't get a table at Creek Oyster Bar despite staying there for a week; they lost our reservation!

We stayed at the Commonwealth 9/9-9/15 and we have never had a better experience at a hotel. The front desk was so helpful whenever we had questions. They even moved our room up to the 5th floor when they found out it was our first trip to Boston and we came all the way from Alaska to go to a Red Sox game. Our view of Fenway couldn't have been better! About 3 days into our stay, it was unseasonably hot and the air conditioner to the hallway was very loud and vibrating our room. We notified the front desk and they immediately sent someone up to turn it off for the night. The next day they moved all of our things to a new room while we were out for the day and left a bottle of wine, chocolates and a personalized note apologizing for any inconvenience and wishing us a fun night at the Patriots game. I can't say enough about how great the service was. You don't find this too often nowadays and if anyone is planning a trip to Boston they should definitely stay here! Thank you to Sean and Sam specifically for the top notch recommendations and customer service while we were there. We won't stay anywhere else from here on!

Dear Branda K,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I apologize about the opportunity you experienced with the vent noise; however I am happy we were able to resolve the issue quickly. I hope the Red Sox were able to get a win for you. At least they have made the post season this year! We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Excellent place to stay if looking to attend a Red Sox game. We have been staying at the hotel for the last 4 years when we attend a game. If looking for adjoining rooms, you need to be very specific and make sure that you get as much in writing as possible. I love the hotel, except for their lack of accommodating my request for adjoining rooms.
