Very hip and urbane with a plethora of Asian food delicacies. Would have given it 5 stars but some of the dishes were very breaded and fried. Order carefully if you are health conscious~

We enjoyed our dinner very much, however the service was not up to snuff and the acoustics of the room made conversation challenging.

The PuPu platter is a nice way to get a sense of the quality and variety of the menu. Perfect for 2, not quite enough for 4. Duck buns were very tasty without the usual overpowering hoisin sauce.

We enjoyed the drunken noodles, the char sui fried rice and the tik tok chicken. Each had a variety of subtle complementary tastes going on.

With better service and dialing down the noise, it wouldn't be a stretch to give the Red Lantern five stars.

After a Bruins game, a few of us celebrated an OT win with drinks and dinner at this unique locale. The oversized seating areas, inviting bar, plank flooring, and open kitchen are all spectacular.

Start with the spicy edamame or the amazing duck buns. Shawn and Erin treated us to some amazing spicy tuna maki and plenty of nigiri and sashimi treats.

The drink menu is very unique including about a dozen Red Lantern Creations plus plenty of Tiki drinks and Asian cocktails.

Don't miss this place on your next visit to Boston Strong.

I have eaten at the Red Lantern a few times, and it consistently provides great service and excellent food. The Asian fusion theme mixes new takes on traditional Chinese dishes, as well as Japanese items, including great sushi options. The Crispy Rice Bites are incredible, as is the Rock Shrimp Tempura appetizer. The Shrimp Tempura maki roll is very tasty, and the others in my party enjoyed the Sea Bass and House Friend Rice entrees. The service is excellent, and the staff is extra friendly. I highly recommend trying this restaurant - you will not be disappointed.

Out for dinner with a friend. Had edamame, spring rolls and Singapore noodles which we split. All really delicious. Love the atmosphere- rustic old Boston building meets southeast Asia- it works! Service great, wonderful wine list. Cocktails looked really good- may try next time. Portions are big so great for sharing. Convenient to Copley Square and a nice easy stroll if you are staying at one of the Copley hotels.
