After having a terrible check in experience which left us watching everyone else checking in while we waited and waited and waited we had a great time in Boston and at this hotel. It’s well appointed, clean and everything works. Great wee bar plus reasonable selection of basics in the restaurant, although no gluten free bread available for the whole week. Location is an easy walk into the main parts of town and all the main attractions. Whole Foods Market and CVS very close

This is a great location if visiting Boston. You can walk to tube, walk down to the Riverwalk, lots of beautiful gardens and things to do, great restaurants close by. Hotel is clean and well appointed, staff is excellent.. Going back again in August 2019!

The pool area patio was disintegrating, stones pebbles everywhere, had no towels in the afternoon, work out room was dirty with no towels or wipes for the machines, the outside of the building looks run down,

This location is fantastic! Everyone was very helpful and friendly, and everything you could need is in walking distance -- including a Starbucks! We were able to walk to the riverfront and Boston Commons.

The location of this hotel is excellent for MGH. The room was quiet and there is an Au Bon Pain and Starbucks close by and a CVS and Whole Foods at the back of the property. However, the décor needs some serious updating. The lobby has low ceilings and dirty carpet. A lot of brown, dull beige tiles and sludge green. Rooms are spacious, bathrooms are very small and dated.
If the room rates were low, these things could be overlooked, but when I was searching on line, the room price quoted was the same as for the Liberty Hotel round the corner, which is a 4-5 star property. I did get a lower last minute rate.
There was a mix up at the reception desk when they could not find my reservation.
If you need to stay in this part of Boston, close to Storrow Drive and the hospital, then this is an OK choice, but Wyndham really needs to do some redecorating..

Room tip: Choose the upgraded rooms on high floors
