Absolute bog standard 3 star hotel. Good location; room clean and tidy but nothing at all special about the place. Beds were comfortable and free wifi.
Reception area looks tired and the whole place has a seventies feel about it.

Bean Town Bargain
Just spent one night over the Labor Day Weekend. Very confidently located in the Beacon Hill / North End. About a 10 minute walk to Quincy Market and just a little farther to the Boston Common.

Very clean and well appointed room. Has a nice pool on a second floor roof.

Parking was in a nearby garage ($48) under the Whole Food market.

Fast, free Wi-Fi. Lots of nearby breakfast places within walking distance.

Three's the charm
We arrived at the Wyndham and we greeted by the lovest valet ever. His name was Anthony and he was oh so charming. He picked up the bags and told me to not bother with the umbrella as the hotel would provide one if needed. To my husband's delight he went over parking at MGH as we had an appointment at Mass Eye and ear. I arrived at the check in desk and let them know my husband came with me instead of my daughter and we were wondering if we could have a king size bed instead of two doubles. They were quick to upgrade us to executive suites on the 12th floor and let us know that with our Wyndham rewards there was no extra cost. I had stayed there twice previously. Great! Anthony stayed patiently at our side the entire time. He took us up to the executive floor and explained where everything was including the gym on the second floor. The 12th floor was quite and comfortable. Our view of the Charles was nice but the tall buildings di. d take abit away from the view. We were able to see a picture of the Charles anyway. The bathroom was very luxurious. We only stayed one night but we will be back again. We ate breakfast of English muffins with Jelly and coffee. We felt that was pricey.

Good location, beware of upgrades!
I had made a booking for a 2 queen beds bedroom with a view on an executive floor (12th it 14th floor) incl. breakfast for two adults and a child. I was 'upgraded' to a junior suite with one king bed and a sofa bed on the 7th flloor, with view of the car park and none of the executive benefits like bathrobes eg. Unfortunately, it was my son and husband checking in, who were not aware of the booking details, so by the time I arrived it was too late to change the room back to the one originally booked. Although the booking was for 3, we were only given 2 breakfast vouchers per day, and only for continental breakfast (motel style), not the full breakfast buffet. The hotel eventually let us all have the full breakfast, but we had to complain every day, which I found time consuming and inconvenient. Overall not the experience I had hoped for.

Great stay
Stayed here during my husband's surgery at Massachusetts General hospital. Clean safe and a very short walk to the hospital. Every employee was polite and helpful. I was supplied with an umbrella on a rainy day. Kic at the front desk went above and beyond to answer my questions and provide directions. This eased any worry I had and allowed me to stay close by my husband. Thank you to all of you.

Good Hotel but needs some improvement
Overall the room was nice and comfortable. The only issues were some mold on the bathroom shower and the TV did not work properly. All channels had static or did not have a signal at all.
