See the extraordinary organ pipes and hall but be sure to get tickets for a performance if you can. Witness the hall in action and the people who inhabit it.

Saw a Handel and Haydn concert here. It's located right by a T station, which is helpful. Exterior is very nice, interior is too. It was a really good experience.

the hall and its acoustics are phenomenal. there isn't a bad seat in the house, in many ways its like the best European concert halls, built before electrical amplifiers and the sound is wonderful. the BSO are a fantastic orchestra and we also had the treat of YoYo Ma as the guest soloist, what's not to love!
Well the pre-post concert options in the hall are awful. the nicest staff couldn't make up for the expensive drinks (even by typical concert standards $15 for a glass of wine!) and the food was like the school cafeteria. Don't waste your money there are dining options near by, go,there! It's such a shame a good cocktail bar would increase revenue and be a great draw to the hall.

I know the most important part of this venue is the acoustics (which seem fine - although I'm far from an expert) but I can't help but comment on the unremarkable style of the interior and exterior of the building. There's a tacked-on reception hall off to one side but it feels like you're standing in someone's basement and not in a grand hall.

The acoustics are incredible here! They also have a wonderful orchestra and stellar guest stars!! The best seats are on the second balcony because the sound is just beautiful. I always try to go here at least once a year.
