“Worth a visit to understand the Hall's history and importance”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 28, 2014

We found Faneuil Hall to be an interesting place to visit. The NPS ranger was a great help in providing a couple of British tourists with an excellent overview of the importance and history of this fascinating building. The hall was an integral part of our Freedom Trail walk. It was an oasis of calm after the crowds outside.
The first floor has a number of shops but is much quieter than across in Quincy Market.

“A great place to relax along the Freedom Trail”

The information and exhibition inside is small and can be done quickly. The best part is that it has bathrooms.

“Great Attraction, Lots of History”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 23, 2014

I liked that it was self-paced (if you wanted it to be). It looked well-preserved without being overly touristy. It had good information without being overwhelming and history galore. It doesn't take terribly long to see, and there is plenty of stuff around if some people in your group aren't fans of this type of attraction.

“See the Faneuil Hall, across from the Quincy Market”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 7, 2014

It is easy to find the hall. Find the Quincy Market and go to the buidling across. Enter the center doors and take the steps up. There you will find the Faneuil Hall and if you are lucky, a guide. The interior is pretty and you can sit and rest from the heat and crazy activities all around. A very calm and cool room with much history. Recommend!

“Talk with the Ranger”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 18, 2014

We arrived just as the hall opened. We discussed many of the paintings and impact of some of Massachusetts most historic figures. The NPS ranger was very knowledgable and clearly excited about the history of the building. Be sure to visit the top floor armory of one of Boston's company's.
