“Beautiful”

This is a beautiful historic building with a lot to look at and history to view and purchase. Out side street performers entertain and delight. Enjoyed the history of the building.

“Not to be missed.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 6, 2013

An historic building surrounded by shopping, restaurants, outdoor performers, huge food court - fun! Be sure to visit the upstairs. When we were there on one occasion their was a tour guide explaining the historical significance of the building - as I recall if was a National Park Ranger - but that could be wrong. There are outdoor vendors, kites in the wind, flowers everywhere (for sale), and always crowds. It's right on the freedom trail. Plan on stopping there and taking in the atmosphere for a while. Maybe watch a performer in the open courtyard - usually jugglers, or acrobats - free for watching , they hope for a donation as they pass the hat at the end of their "show". Grab a bite to eat, or a treat, or pick up a souvenir in one of the many shops. It's an "experience" not to be missed. We go every year when we go back for the marathon in April.

“DON'T MISS THIS PLACE”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 4, 2013

I live in Boston and today I was in Faneuil Hall and I was shocked that school trips with teachers as chaperones didn't know what to see. Teachers were under the impression that Faneuil Hall is an old building with a bunch of shops similar to other malls. This is sad. Not even teacher know about the cradle of liberty and the historical significance of this place. Please read up on the facts and when you get here be aware that the Hall is on the second floor of the building. The park agents give a great explanation of the history of Faneuil Hall and how it is intrinsically connected to the origins of our republic. Do stroll about Quincy Market but don't forget that the gem here is Faneuil Hall located on the second floor. By the way, located on the third floor is the second oldest military organization in the world after the Swiss Guards, the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company.

“Historic Spot”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 31, 2013

This facility has held significance in Massachussetts and US history for multiple decades. It is worth a visit to this place to soak in that significance. It is not only historic but an architectural gem as well.

“Good place to take the kids”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 27, 2013

I recently visited Faneuil Hall with a cousin of mine. We had a great time here. Lots of shops and LOTS of food! There is a great variety of food here and shops for everyone. Quincy Market is in Faneuil Hall and that is where we spent our time.
