“A unique place to vistit with all different kinds of food”
Reviewed December 26, 2012

This is a great place to visit while in Boston. There is one long hall of every kind of food you can think of. On the outside of the building on both sides there are kiosks which you can shop at and restaurants where you can sit down. Lots of fun!!!

“A fun place to see.”
Reviewed December 21, 2012

Been there many times for company parties and for the restaurants. This is the home of Durgin Park. This restaurant is one with New England Cusine about the only one specializing in this. Not to miss!

“Skip the shops, visit the historic hall upstairs”
Reviewed December 20, 2012

The historic Faneuil Hall meeting room upstairs above the shops is the place to go. The Hall is beautiful but the really good part is the National Park Service tour guide. Try to go when Merrill Kohlhofer is the Park Service guide. He is amazing at making the history of the place come alive. Kohlhofer is a former preacher and professional storyteller who not only tells the stories but can spontaneously recite quotes and speeches actually made in the Hall. He covers both the Revolutionary history and the more recent stuff about the Hall's role in the Abolitionist and Feminist Movements.

“Top Ten in My Book!”
Reviewed December 16, 2012

I can't see how this is rated as #44. It's in the top 10 in my book. The energy here is just amazing. It's historic and so alive! There are lots of tourists and touristy type shops, but I think it blends well with the every day business of Boston as well as the old, preserved sites. I've been here many times and it never gets old. It's a great people watching location too.

“Beautiful during the holidays”
Reviewed November 28, 2012

Love going down to Faneuil in December once all the lights are up. It's a stunning area to really get in the holiday spirit. There's lots of eateries within, but it's enjoyable to just walk outside the structure and take in the beauty of it.
