My husband and I spent an enjoyable and informative afternoon walking the Freedom Trail and hearing about the history of Boston. Ben was a wonderful guide and I would highly recommend him.

“Fifth Graders LOVE historic Boston with Ben!”
Reviewed December 10, 2011

The students in our fifth grade classrooms always enjoy touring historic Boston with Ben/ Ben's quick pace keeps the students interested and they are actively engaged looking for clues and artifacts throughout the day. There is never a dull moment! He has built in so many "special" and unexpected twists that the students and staff are kept on their feet and engaged the entire day. As a teacher who loves Boston, I look forward to our trip with Ben each year!

“Proud to be a Bostonian!”
Reviewed December 1, 2011

Destination: Boston! A place that should be on the MUST SEE list of every American and of every person that has an interest in history and in remarkable cultural venues. If you are lucky enough to be able to travel to Boston, the only tour that brings this city justice is Ben Edwards’ tour. Why Ben Edwards tour? Because Ben is the only tour guide that will present the city and its history with a passion and a pride like you’ve never seen before. Ben’s presence is electrifying from the first moment he begins the tour. He has a story, and an interesting one for that matter, at each step of the tour- it is hard not to stay engaged in his presence. Thank God for the red brick trail otherwise you would think you are really back in time, walking on the streets during the Revolutionary War. Well prepared with numerous relics of the times he presents, Ben will walk you back to the time of his ancestors with so much passion that you will see and hear the tumult of the city in those years. What is the most amazing thing about Ben’s tour is the ease with which he adapts to everyone’s knowledge. Ben makes the tour fun while not missing a beat from the remarkable moments in the city’s history. Two things you will remember about Boston, the city’s beauty and this unique history lesson thru the eyes of a very proud relative of the some of the most remarkable American families. Highly recommend the tour!

“Don't Leave Boston Without It!"”
Reviewed November 29, 2011

Imagine learning American history from one of Paul Revere's relatives as you walk through Boston's historic landmarks. Ben Edwards enables you to live history. For five years Weston Public Schools' Fifth Graders have walked historic Boston with Ben, while he captivated them with his primary documents, tales of long ago, and entertaining humor. We bring almost 200 kids over five days to Ben to ignite our students' knowledge of our American forefathers' experiences. Ben is extremely knowledgable and gifted as a tour guide. He keeps a group of 46 ten and eleven year olds riveted to his every word.
Our students love this tour, and as educators we know this is the very best historic tour of Boston for kids and adults. You do not want to leave historic Boston without taking this tour.

“If You Miss This Tour; You've Missed Boston...A MUST Do!”
Reviewed November 29, 2011

My wife, my daughters (21 and 15) and I came to Boston for the Thanksgiving week. One of the first things we did was to take a private tour with Ben Edwards. We have taken private tours in Rome, New York, etc. This tour BY FAR was the most interesting, engaging, and fun of any tour we have ever taken in our travels. When Ben wasn't looking, we would look at each other, smile, and give each other the thumbs up as we could not believe what a great guide we had for the day. I am quite a history buff, and the things that Ben told and showed us were things that amazed us. During the tour we stopped for snacks and lunch and began to feel as though Ben was a great long-lost friend; we did not want the tour to end. Hey, one of the biggest reasons you go to Boston is for the history: well, be sure you have Ben to show you it in a fascinating way.
Later on in the week as we visited other attractions, we missed Ben, and wished he could accompany us the whole week. Do this tour, and you will remember Boston forever! Thanks Ben.
