Visiting from out of town on a cold and windy morning in January, I brought a friend to my favorite morning place in Boston, The Thinking Cup! With a view facing the Park, it is the best and tastiest wake up call in Boston!
The usual blend of students and working folks , no generation or gender gap here, a gentle croud enjoying the famous hazlenut latte, or hearty oatmeal and made-to-order breakfast sandwiches to suit every diet & food allergy out there!
The staff is zen and attentive to your special needs and the quality all around is a key ingredient, a sure sign when you see the regulars come in and out of the place.
Bravo!

On the high side price-wise but very enjoyable. Expect to have a difficult time finding a seat on busy evenings. However, once you do, you'll enjoy all of their offerings.

This is the spot to be...very trendy and busy. Out of this world lattes, try the hazelnut latte, you will love it. Pastries are great too. Both the coffee and the ambiance steal the scene. Best coffee house I've been to.

My wife and I spent a long weekend in Boston, and had breakfast a couple of times. The coffee is excellent, the oatmeal (porridge) is lump-free, flavourfull - you have a variety of toppings, including banana, apple, raisins, nuts, and cinnamon. The staff are friendly and helpful, and finally, the decor is relaxed and "Americana". Overall, a great, relaxed, place to start your day.
